Role Overview

DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

CI/CD & Automation

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across local, dev, staging, and production environments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and application deployments.
• Continuously improve release processes for speed, safety, and repeatability.

Cloud Infrastructure (AWS)

• Manage AWS services including

  EC2, S3, RDS, EKS/ECS, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation, and Terraform

  .
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and cost-optimization strategies.
• Ensure

  high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery

  readiness.

Application & Service Management

• Deploy and manage

  Elasticsearch clusters

  for scalable search capabilities.
• Configure and monitor

  AWS SES

  for email delivery, bounce/complaint handling, and deliverability.
• Securely manage secrets, credentials, and configurations across environments.

Deployment & Release Management

• Implement zero-downtime deployment strategies.
• Own the full release cycle from

  code merge → testing → deployment → monitoring

  .
• Collaborate closely with development teams for smooth releases.

Monitoring & Reliability

• Set up observability solutions using

  CloudWatch, ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.

• Define

  SLAs, SLOs, and error budgets

  ; contribute to incident management.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and implement preventive measures for reliability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands-on DevOps/SRE experience in

  cloud-native or SaaS environments

  .
• Strong expertise in

  AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, EKS/ECS, IAM, VPC, etc.)

  .
• Proven experience with

  CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred)

  .
• Proficiency in

  Infrastructure as Code

  (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with

  Elasticsearch

  setup, scaling, and monitoring.
• Familiarity with

  AWS SES

  or similar email delivery platforms.
• Practical knowledge of

  observability & monitoring tools

  (CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).
• Strong scripting skills (

  Bash, Python, or equivalent

  ).
• Understanding of

  networking, security, and access controls

  in multi-tenant SaaS systems.
• Exposure to

  microservices architecture

  and

  multi-tenant SaaS environments

  .
• Experience with

  data backup/recovery and disaster recovery planning

  .
• Knowledge of

  AWS cost optimization strategies
