DevOps Engineer

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools necessary to support our development and deployment processes. Your expertise in Azure, CI/CD, Jenkins, Ansible, system administration, shell scripting, Kubernetes, and Docker will be essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our software delivery pipeline.

Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure on Azure cloud platform.

Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes to streamline software development and delivery.

Utilize Jenkins to automate build, test, and deployment workflows.

Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for configuration management and infrastructure provisioning.

Perform system administration tasks, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing system performance.

Write shell scripts to automate routine tasks and enhance operational efficiency.

Deploy, manage, and scale applications using Kubernetes and Docker containers.

Collaborate with development teams to understand their requirements and provide guidance on infrastructure and deployment best practices.

Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in DevOps, cloud computing, and containerization.

Requirements:

• Solid experience working with Azure cloud platform, including knowledge of Azure services and infrastructure components.
• Proficiency in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins. Strong understanding of configuration management tools, particularly Ansible.
• Sound knowledge of system administration concepts and practices.
• Proficiency in shell scripting (e.g., Bash) for automation and system administration tasks. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred qualifications:

• Relevant certifications in Azure, DevOps, or related areas.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, such as Terraform.
• Knowledge of other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
• Familiarity with other CI/CD tools, such as GitLab CI/CD or CircleCI.
• Understanding of monitoring and logging tools.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
