Role Overview:

The DevOps Architect is responsible for designing scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to support modern software development across cloud and on-premises environments. The role focuses on defining architecture frameworks, implementing automation best practices, and supporting the technical blueprint for the engineering teams. This senior position requires deep expertise in cloud platforms and strong cross-functional leadership skills

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, automated infrastructure and deployment pipelines (CI/CD) using modern DevOps tools .

• Define and standardize use of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies .

• Architect solutions for high availability, disaster recovery, security, and operational efficiency in cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-prem environments .

• Guide selection, integration, and optimization of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes .

• Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, standards, and playbooks .

• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and security teams to align infrastructure strategy with business goals .

• Mentor and advise DevOps engineers, supporting their technical growth and fostering adoption of architectural best practices .

• Drive continuous improvement, evaluating emerging tools and techniques to keep team capabilities current .

• Support compliance, risk management, and governance goals related to infrastructure and automation 

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, systems, platform, or cloud architecture roles .

• Deep expertise in infrastructure design, automation, resilience, and IaC .

• Proficiency with modern DevOps tools for CI/CD, monitoring, orchestration, and configuration management.

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid architectures .

• Excellent collaboration, communication, and technical leadership abilities.

• Strong knowledge of security, networking, and regulatory compliance in distributed systems .

• Expertise in scripting languages and automation frameworks is a plus.
