Design Engineer

📌 Key Responsibilities:

• Good Knowledge of Design and manufacturing
• Good knowledge of GD&T Symbols as functions
• Able to work on Conceptual Design/R&D Projects
• Able to work on Manufacturing drawings and Casting/Forgings Design projects
• Able to work on Sheet metal and Surface Design projects
• Able to work on Reverse engineering and DFMEA projects
• Strong Knowledge of Design & manufacturing processes and Experience in GD&T functions using CAD Tools.
• Understanding of ASTM, ASME, API, ANSI, and ISO standards
• Strong Technical Aptitude with a Willingness to learn new Technologies quickly
• Experience in the automotive industry preferred

🎯 Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors/Graduate in Mechanical/Production/Automobile/ Mechatronics or relevant field.
• 6 + years’ Experience in a similar role
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills must.
• Accurate and strong attention to Data and record management.
• Proficient in MS Office and any design software
• Proficient in any ERP Software input, analysis and report and SAP preferable
• Able to work on 2D - 3D DWG Checking (Solidworks and AutoCAD)\
• Position requires skills in the following areas as appropriate: SAP input, analysis and report, Solidworks , AutoCAD, SharePoint, APQP/Change Management, Configuration Management
• Strong Technical Aptitude with a Willingness to learn new Technologies quickly.
• Experience in the automotive industry preferred.
• Experience with Data and Lifecycle Management (Network Drive, SharePoint, PDM)
• Experience with Metadata analysis preferable
• Experience in the automotive industry preferred.
