🔹 We Are Hiring – Design Engineer 🔹 Horizon Global is looking for a passionate and skilled Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. 📌 Key Responsibilities: Good Knowledge of Design and manufacturing Good knowledge of GD&T Symbols as functions Able to work on Conceptual Design/R&D Projects Able to work on Manufacturing drawings and Casting/Forgings Design projects Able to work on Sheet metal and Surface Design projects Able to work on Reverse engineering and DFMEA projects Strong Knowledge of Design & manufacturing processes and Experience in GD&T functions using CAD Tools. Understanding of ASTM, ASME, API, ANSI, and ISO standards Strong Technical Aptitude with a Willingness to learn new Technologies quickly Experience in the automotive industry preferred 🎯 Desired Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors/Graduate in Mechanical/Production/Automobile/ Mechatronics or relevant field. 6 + years’ Experience in a similar role Excellent English written and verbal communication skills must. Accurate and strong attention to Data and record management. Proficient in MS Office and any design software Proficient in any ERP Software i nput, analysis and report and SAP preferable Able to work on 2D - 3D DWG Checking (Solidworks and AutoCAD)\ Position requires skills in the following areas as appropriate: SAP input, analysis and report, Solidworks , AutoCAD, SharePoint, APQP/Change Management, Configuration Management Strong Technical Aptitude with a Willingness to learn new Technologies quickly. Experience in the automotive industry preferred.
