Position: Deputy Project Manager

Your Mission:

As a Deputy Project Manager at Pophen, you’ll play a pivotal role in orchestrating end-to-end project execution — from concept to commissioning. You’ll collaborate with experts, lead diverse teams, and ensure every milestone aligns with Pophen’s commitment to excellence and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• 🧭

  Project Planning & Development:

  Define project scope, objectives, budgets, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders to align business goals with execution plans.
• 🏗️

  Design & Construction Oversight:

  Lead and coordinate all phases of design, construction, and installation — ensuring adherence to specifications, standards, and quality benchmarks.
• 💰

  Budget & Cost Control:

  Develop and monitor project budgets, track expenses, and manage change orders to keep financial performance on target.
• 📅

  Scheduling & Progress Management:

  Create and maintain detailed project schedules to ensure milestones are achieved on time and within scope.
• 🤝

  Vendor & Subcontractor Management:

  Select, negotiate, and manage architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors for optimal performance and quality delivery.

  Quality Assurance & Validation:

  Enforce rigorous quality control standards and oversee testing, validation, and certification of cleanroom environments.

  Risk Management:

  Identify potential risks early, evaluate impacts, and implement effective mitigation strategies.

  Stakeholder Communication:

  Serve as the central communication bridge — providing clear, consistent updates and comprehensive project reports to clients and internal leadership.

  Safety Leadership:

  Uphold and promote Pophen’s Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies to ensure a culture of safety and compliance on-site.

What You Bring

• 🎓

  Education:

  Bachelor’s degree in

  Mechanical Engineering

  ,

  Construction Management

  , or a

  related field

  (Master’s degree preferred for senior roles).
• 💼

  Experience: 5–6 years

  with an

  Engineering degree

  , or

  6–7 years

  with a

  Diploma

  , in

  cleanroom design, engineering, or construction

  — ideally within the

  pharmaceutical, semiconductor, or life sciences

  industries.
• 🧠

  Expertise:

  Solid understanding of

  cleanroom standards

  , project management methodologies, and proficiency in tools like

  Microsoft Project

  or

  Primavera (P6)

  .
