Role Overview: The Dean of Business Management at the Faculty of Management Studies serves as an academic leader and visionary, driving excellence in teaching, research, and industry collaboration. Your role involves strategic leadership, innovation, and mentorship to elevate the School of Business to national and global prominence. Key Responsibilities: - Academic Leadership - Lead strategic planning, curriculum innovation, and pedagogical excellence. - Align programs with NAAC / NBA / AACSB standards and global best practices. - Foster interdisciplinary learning and international collaborations. - Faculty & Research Development - Recruit, mentor, and inspire faculty toward teaching and research excellence. - Strengthen research output through projects, publications, and conferences. - Organize Faculty Development Programs, workshops, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. - Administrative Management - Oversee budgeting, staffing, and academic operations of the School. - Ensure compliance with institutional and statutory requirements. - Represent the School in university-level committees and councils. - Industry & External Relations - Build strong alliances with corporates, professional bodies, and global institutions. - Drive placement initiatives, internships, and executive education programs. - Promote entrepreneurship, consultancy, and innovation-driven initiatives. - Student Engagement - Foster student growth, leadership, and ethical values. - Encourage participation in management events, competitions, and research forums. - Address student concerns while promoting a culture of inclusion and excellence. Qualifications & Experience: - Ph.D. in Management or allied discipline from a reputed university. - Minimum 15 years of academic experience with 5+ years in a leadership role (Dean/Director/HOD). - Strong research record with publications and academic achievements. - Proven ability to lead teams, manage resources, and build academic-industry bridges.
