Job Description

Description

We are looking for an experienced DCDP Continental and Commis Indian to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a strong background in continental and Indian cuisines, helping to create exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and presentation of continental dishes in line with the restaurant's menu.
Support the head chef in managing kitchen operations and ensuring food quality and presentation standards are met.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and service of meals.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and comply with food safety regulations.
Participate in menu development and contribute new ideas for dishes and presentations.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.

Skills and Qualifications

4-8 years of experience in a similar role within a reputable restaurant or hotel.
Proficient in continental cuisine and cooking techniques.
Knowledge of Indian cuisine and ability to prepare traditional Indian dishes is a plus.
Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods such as grilling, sauting, and baking.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
