Location: Village: Wargal, District: Siddipet, State: Telangana Job Summary: The Mechanical Engineer will manage the entire maintenance function of the ice cream factory, ensuring that all machinery and equipment operate at optimal efficiency. This role involves handling PLC-based machines, conducting preventive and breakdown maintenance, managing the maintenance team, working in environments with DG Boilers, RO Plants, Cooling Towers and Air Compressors. The Mechanical Engineer will also be responsible for fault finding, diagnosis and repairs on all equipment and plant machinery mechanically. Key Responsibilities: Maintenance Management: Oversee the entire maintenance function within the factory. Ensure all machinery and equipment are maintained to a high standard for optimal performance. Production Management: Operate and Oversee: Responsible for managing Cup, Cone and Stick line machines to ensure efficient production processes. In-Process Management: Supervise and optimise the operation of Pasteurizers, Homogenizers, and Pneumatic Valves to maintain consistent product quality and performance. PLC-based Machines: Handle and maintain PLC-based machines. Ensure proper functioning and timely troubleshooting of PLC systems. Preventive Maintenance: Schedule and execute preventive maintenance for all machinery. Develop and implement maintenance strategies to prevent breakdowns. Team Management: Manage and lead the maintenance team. Provide guidance and training to team members to ensure high performance. Breakdown and Corrective Maintenance: Conduct breakdown maintenance to minimize downtime. Perform corrective maintenance to address issues and prevent recurrence. Plant Maintenance & Utilities: Comprehensive Plant Oversight: Manage the maintenance of the entire plant, ensuring all systems and machinery operate efficiently and reliably. System Optimisation: Ensure the seamless operation of Water Treatment Plants (WTP), Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP), and the Ammonia plant, focusing on maintaining peak efficiency and compliance with safety standards. Environments with DG Boilers/RO Plants: Work in environments that include DG Boilers and RO Plants. Ensure the proper maintenance and operation of these systems. Environments with Cooling Towers/Air Compressors: Work in environments with Cooling Towers and Air Compressors. Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting for these systems. Fault Finding and Repairs: Conduct fault finding diagnosis and repairs on all equipment and plant machinery. Address both electrical and mechanical issues. Proactive Planning: Proactively plan the site preventive maintenance (PM) schedule. Highlight key service and planning requirements during daily morning meetings and take action to address them. Engineering Support: Provide engineering support to the production teams to ensure maximum line efficiency. Collaborate with production teams to resolve technical issues and optimize processes. PPM System Maintenance: Maintain the planned preventive maintenance (PPM) system to an extremely high standard. Ensure smooth production operations through effective maintenance practices. Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. High school diploma or equivalent is required any additional technical training or certification in machine operation or related field is preferred. Experience: Relevant Experience: Proven experience of 5 years as a Mechanical Engineer or similar role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in ice cream production. Experience with PLC-based machinery and environments with DG Boilers, RO Plants, Cooling Towers and Air Compressors. Skills: Technical Skills: Strong technical skills in both electrical and mechanical maintenance. Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic abilities. Proactive and organized approach to maintenance planning. Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
