Role Overview

Cloud and Infrastructure Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage

  Azure cloud infrastructure for compute, storage, networking, and security services.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning

  using

  Terraform

  and other IaC tools to ensure repeatability and scalability.

• Administer and optimize

  Microsoft Intune

  and

  Mobile Device Management (MDM)

  solutions for endpoint security, compliance, and lifecycle management.
• Configure and maintain

  Azure Active Directory

  , role-based access controls (RBAC), and identity governance.
• Develop and manage

  CI/CD pipelines

  for infrastructure deployment using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance across cloud workloads using

  Azure Monitor

  ,

  Log Analytics

  , and

  Application Insights

  .
• Implement

  security best practices

  for data protection, compliance, and vulnerability management.
• Collaborate with application, security, and DevOps teams to support hybrid and cloud-native environments.
• Document architectures, standards, and operational processes.
• Support disaster recovery, backup, and high availability configurations in Azure.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree

  in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 36 years

  of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering or systems administration.
• Hands-on experience with:

• Azure Infrastructure Services:

  Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Storage Accounts, NSGs, Load Balancers, Azure Policy.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

  Terraform (preferred), ARM Templates, or Bicep.

• MDM / Intune:

  Device enrollment, compliance policies, app protection policies, and endpoint configuration.

• Azure Active Directory:

  Identity, access, and conditional access policies.

• Automation:

  PowerShell, Python, or Azure CLI scripting.

• Monitoring & Logging:

  Azure Monitor, Sentinel, Log Analytics.
• Strong understanding of

  networking

  ,

  security principles

  , and

  governance in Azure environments

  .
• Experience with

  Azure DevOps

  ,

  Git

  , or

  CI/CD

  tools for infrastructure automation.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
