Job Description

JD- Database Developer
Job BackgroundThe Database developer - is a individual contributor role who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by implementing latest concepts to support the Risk & Control function.Technical Skills:

MS SQL
Business Intelligence tools
Database Management
ETL/SSIS

Knowledge and Experience:

Prior experience includes 5-6 years of SQL knowledge and experience with other business analytics software, Microsoft T-SQL preferred.
Experienced in designing data / reporting systems from the ground up.
Comfortable with complex ETL data flows, ability to reverse engineer existing packages and create new ones.
Advanced knowledge of complex query for data analysis.
Experience with product and development lifecycle management principles (SDLC) and related tools such as Git/Bitbucket/Release Management.
.NET and C# programming skills are a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze requirements, co-design and develop specifications and process flows and manage data which supplies information to various Risk and Audit teams.
Works with various Risk teams in presenting recommendations for improvement to technology subject matter experts and management.
Develop and maintain transactional and dimensional databases/warehouse with further expansion to big data and other products if necessary.
Develop and maintain ETL and data load jobs.
Understand front to back systems and manage transaction flow.
Develop and maintain transactional and dimensional databases/warehouse.
Maintain and enhance existing complex stored procedures.
BTech/Bsc degree or equivalent experience preferred.
