Database Dev - SSIS

As a Database Developer, you will be responsible for contributing to the directional strategy of the Risk & Control function by implementing the latest concepts in database management. Your role as an individual contributor will involve the following key responsibilities: - Analyze requirements, co-design and develop specifications, and process flows to manage data for various Risk and Audit teams. - Present recommendations for improvement to technology subject matter experts and management based on collaborative work with Risk teams. - Develop and maintain transactional and dimensional databases/warehouse, with the possibility of expanding to big data and other products if needed. - Create and manage ETL processes and data load jobs to ensure smooth data flow. - Understand front to back systems and effectively manage transaction flow. - Maintain and enhance existing complex stored procedures to optimize database performance. Qualifications required for this role include: - 5-6 years of experience in SQL with proficiency in Microsoft T-SQL and other business analytics software. - Ability to design data/reporting systems from scratch and work with complex ETL data flows. - Advanced knowledge of complex query for data analysis and experience with SDLC principles and related tools such as Git/Bitbucket/Release Management. - Familiarity with .NET and C# programming skills is a plus.
