Database Dev - SSIS

As a Database Developer at our company, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Risk & Control function by staying updated with the latest developments in your field and implementing innovative concepts. Your responsibilities will include: - Analyzing requirements, co-designing and developing specifications and process flows, and managing data to provide information to various Risk and Audit teams. - Collaborating with Risk teams to present improvement recommendations to technology experts and management. - Developing and maintaining transactional and dimensional databases/warehouse, with the potential for expansion to big data and other products. - Creating and managing ETL and data load jobs. - Understanding front-to-back systems and overseeing transaction flow. - Maintaining and enhancing existing complex stored procedures. Your technical skills should include proficiency in: - MS SQL - Business Intelligence tools - Database Management - ETL/SSIS To excel in this role, you should possess: - 5-6 years of SQL knowledge and experience with other business analytics software, preferably Microsoft T-SQL. - Experience in designing data/reporting systems from scratch. - Comfort with complex ETL data flows, ability to reverse engineer existing packages, and create new ones. - Advanced knowledge of complex queries for data analysis. - Familiarity with product and development lifecycle management principles (SDLC) and related tools like Git/Bitbucket/Release Management. - .NET and C# programming skills would be advantageous.
