You will begin by defining clear and measurable goals that align with the strategic vision of the organization. This involves understanding the financial data and identifying key performance indicators that will guide your analysis.In this role, You are responsible for various tasks that involve data extraction, transformation, analysis, and visualization. You need to utilize a range of tools to accomplish these tasks, including Alteryx for data preparation, Python for scripting and automation, SQL for database management, Tableau for creating interactive dashboards, and Thoughtspot for advanced data exploration and insights.
Job Responsibilities
- Utilize ETL tools like Alteryx and Python to perform data extraction, transformation, and analysis, while writing SQL queries to securely and accurately transfer critical datasets, ensuring seamless business continuity.
- Support the development and enhancement of data models and workflows by collecting and integrating data from diverse sources.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of data visualization solutions using Tableau and/or ThoughtSpot, delivering intuitive insights and decision support for key stakeholders.
- Strive to understand stakeholder use cases to effectively anticipate their requirements, questions, and objectives.
- Query data and merge information from diverse data sources to create rich datasets that enable better decision-making
- Analyze data using tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, SQL and Thoughtspot to develop and automate reports or analysis that lead to actionable business insights.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in financial solutions ,data engineering, data science, or business intelligence within the financial services domain.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders with in and across teams.
- Proficiency in Tableau and Alteryx
- Experience with relational databases utilizing SQL to pull and summarize large datasets.
- Highly motivated and self-directed.
