We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data and MIS Analyst to join our Capital Markets team. This role involves managing and analysing financial data to support decision-making processes, ensuring data integrity, and developing management information systems (MIS) that enhance business operations in the capital markets domain. Position: Data & MIS AnalystLocation: MauritiusWorking Zone: Mauritian working zoneJob Type:Full TimeFull allocation - 8 hrs a day * 20 days per month Key Responsibilities • Data Management & Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyse financial data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategies in capital markets. • MIS Development & Maintenance: Design, develop, and maintain management information systems that support fund operations, ensuring data accuracy and system reliability. • Reporting & Dashboards: Generate regular and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and visualisations to provide actionable insights to stakeholders in capital markets. • Data Quality Assurance: Monitor and ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across multiple systems and databases within the capital markets domain. • Collaboration & Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including trading, risk, and compliance, to understand data needs and provide analytical support for decisions making processes. • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within MIS and data analytics functions to enhance efficiency in fund operations. Required Skills & Qualifications Requirements• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. • Technical Proficiency: o Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with database management systems and data warehousing concepts. • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyse complex financial datasets and provide clear, actionable insights. • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data findings to non-technical stakeholders. • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and reporting. • Experience: 2–5 years of experience in data analysis, MIS, or a related role within the financial services sector. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with programming languages such as Python. • Knowledge of capital markets products, instruments and trading systems. • Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements and compliance standards in Indian as well as US capital markets.
