Data Engineer

Project Role Description :

Design, develop and maintain data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing. Create data pipelines, ensure data quality, and implement ETL (extract, transform and load) processes to migrate and deploy data across systems.

15 years full time educationSummary: We are looking for an experienced L2 Support Engineer with strong expertise in Spring Boot applications to provide end-to-end support for our production and non-production systems. The role involves troubleshooting, incident resolution, performance monitoring, and working closely with L3/Development teams to ensure smooth operations of business-critical applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve application incidents within defined SLAs. - Monitor alerts, logs, and dashboards for Spring Boot microservices. - Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and provide permanent fix recommendations. - Handle service requests (config changes, deployments, access issues). - Support CI/CD deployments in lower and production environments. - Validate post-deployment health and rollback if required. - Ensure application availability and performance through proactive monitoring. - Work with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK, AppDynamics, or New Relic. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices. - Good knowledge of Java 8/11+, Familiarity with Maven/Gradle build tools. - Understanding of API gateways, load balancers, and caching mechanisms. - Experience with application monitoring/logging tools (Splunk, ELK, AppDynamics, New Relic, Grafana, Prometheus). - Familiar with incident management tools (ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy). - Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, GitLab CI). - Basic knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/GCP. - Good understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB). Good To Have Skills: - MuleSoft Exposure. - Experience with data warehousing solutions. - Strong understanding of data modeling and database design principles. - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. - Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Spring Boot. - This position is based in Pune. - A 15 years full time education is required.
