Jollt is a next-gen behavioral product helping people reclaim focus, reduce screen addiction, and build better habits. We operate at the intersection of human psychology, behavioral science, and technology. As we scale, data will become the backbone of every product decision we take.
We are looking for a Data Analyst who lives and breathes data, understands user behavior deeply, and can convert complex datasets into actionable insights daily. You must be obsessed with funnels, retention, cohorts, feature usage, and growth loops, and know exactly why users behave the way they do.
As a Data Analyst at Jolt, you will own the entire data analytics pipeline for the app: instrumentation, tracking design, dashboards, insights, forecasting, experimentation, growth analysis, and user behavior research. You will work closely with product, engineering, design, and marketing teams to ensure every decision is backed by solid data, behavioral patterns, and scientific reasoning.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Product Analytics Ownership
● Define and implement end-to-end tracking plans across the Jolt app.
● Design and maintain complete user funnels (onboarding, challenge enrollment, focus sessions, block events, notifications, retention flows, paywall interactions, etc.).
2. Marketing & Growth Analytics
● Work with marketing to track campaign performance, attribution, and cohort-level LTV. Build dashboards for:
● CAC, ROAS, blended acquisition cost
● Campaign-wise retention contribution
● Organic vs paid user quality
● Notification impact analysis (CTR, CVR, habit formation efficiency)
● ASO metrics and install-to-activation funnel Analyse user segments that respond best to specific growth triggers and interventions.
3. Data Infrastructure & Automation Work with the engineering team to ensure:
● Clean event structures
● Reliable data pipelines
● Scalable dashboards Own the entire analytics ecosystem, including:
● PostHog (preferred), otherwise Mixpanel / Amplitude
● Power BI ● BigQuery
● SQL-based BI systems
● Data visualization tools
● Create automated reports and alerts (daily + weekly) for core metrics.
1) Technical Skills ● Expert-level SQL (advanced queries, joins, CTEs, window functions). ● Deep experience with PostHog (events, funnels, cohorts, feature flags, heatmaps). Strong proficiency in: ● PostHog (preferred), otherwise Mixpanel / Amplitude ● Power BI ● BigQuery ● SQL-based BI systems ● Data visualization tools ● Create automated reports and alerts (daily + weekly) for core metrics. ● Ability to build interactive dashboards, complex funnels, user flows, and retention cohorts. ● Strong understanding of mobile app analytics and event instrumentation.
2. Product & Growth Understanding ● End-to-end understanding of consumer mobile products. ● Ability to convert user behavior data into actionable product recommendations. ● Experience with subscription-based app metrics (MRR, churn, LTV, paywall conversion). ● Strong grasp of activation, engagement, retention, and referral loops. ● Experience with push notifications and habit formation analytics. ● Understanding of behavioral science frameworks (e.g., Fogg’s Behavior Model, Hook Model, etc.) is a plus.
