Role Description – Data Analytics & Automation Intern (On-site, Raipur, Chhattisgarh)

This is a full-time, on-site internship for a Data Analytics & Automation Intern at Nexora’s Raipur - Chhattisgarh office. You will work at the intersection of finance, data, and automation, helping build analytics workflows and automate reporting for enterprise clients.

Key responsibilities include:

• Working with financial and operational datasets to support planning, budgeting, and performance tracking
• Writing formulas/queries and working with large datasets in Excel/Sheets and other tools
• Assisting in building dashboards or scripts to streamline management reporting and variance analysis
• Supporting consultants in designing and automating finance processes (KPI dashboards, performance packs, recurring reports)
• Gaining exposure to enterprise performance tools and cloud-based data/automation platforms

Duration, Location & Growth

• Type: Internship
• Duration: 3 months, full-time
• Schedule: 5 days a week, on-site from our Raipur, Chhattisgarh office
• Mentorship: Close collaboration with experienced consultants working in EPM, analytics, and automation
• PPO Opportunity: High-performing interns will be considered for a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) or extended engagement based on performance, learning curve, and business needs

Qualifications

We are looking for a tech- and data-oriented profile with interest in finance:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, comfortable working with data, numbers, and logic
• Familiarity with core finance and accounting concepts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) or willingness to learn them quickly
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets for data analysis and modeling
• Interest or exposure to SQL, Python, or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) for analytics or automation work
• Comfort working with APIs, databases, or scripting (even via college projects or hackathons) is a plus
• Good written and verbal communication to document findings and explain automation ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Currently pursuing or recently completed B.Tech (CS/IT/ECE/EE), Data Science, Mathematics, Finance, Business, MBA, BCA, MCA or related fields
• Prior experience in data analytics projects, hackathons, finance-tech internships, case competitions, or financial planning/reporting tools will be a strong advantage
