Role Overview:

Data Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze large datasets to generate actionable insights that support business and product decisions
• Design and build dashboards and reports in Excel/Google Sheets to track KPIs and operational metrics
• Write SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from internal databases
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, business, and operations teams
• Identify data trends, anomalies, and opportunities for growth or optimization
• Assist in building automated reporting processes for scale and efficiency
• Support ad-hoc analysis and data requests from leadership

Required Qualifications:

• B.Tech/B.E. in Engineering (Computer Science, ECE, IT, Math, etc.) from a

  Tier 1 or Tier 2 Indian college

  (e.g., NITs, BITS, IIITs, DTU, NSUT, VIT, MIT Pune, etc.)

• 1–2 years of relevant experience

  in analytics, consulting, or a data-driven role

• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills

  – including pivot tables, vlookups, nested formulas, and dashboards
• Working knowledge of

  SQL

  – ability to write queries to extract and analyze structured data
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and comfort with numbers
• Clear communication skills and the ability to distill complex data into simple narratives
• Eagerness to work in a fast-moving start-up environment and take ownership

Good to Have (Optional):

• Exposure to data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
• Knowledge of Python for data manipulation (Pandas)
• Internship experience in a similar role
