You will help our business react to changing business conditions with excellent data analysis. You will define the requirements, perform the analysis and identify patterns in large amounts of data.

How you will contribute

You will:

• Define requirements for analysis in a given business area and perform detailed analysis and identify trends defined in the requirements
• Identify patterns and help the business react to changing business conditions
• Perform root-cause analysis and interpret data
• Work with large amounts of data such as facts, figures, and mathematics/formulas and undertake analytical activities and delivers analysis outputs in accordance with customer needs and conforming to established standards
• Understand and be involved with aspects of the data science process
• As the investigator on the data science team, you will apply your knowledge of languages and pull data out of SQL databases, using Tableau/Power BI type tools, and producing basic data visualizations and reporting dashboards

• Develop key performance indicators and create visualizations of the data
• Utilize business intelligence and analytics tool

What you need to know about this position:

What extra ingredients you will bring:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
• Proven experience in reporting and managing projects with cross-functional and global stakeholders.
• Experience in Visualization Tools (Tableau/Power BI/Spotfire)
• Experience in Data Management and Processing Tools (Alteryx/R/Prep/SQL)
• Experience bringing data together from multiple platforms and showcasing it in easy-to-understand visualizations.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques and tools is a plus.
• Experience in the FMCG/Food Products/Supply Chain industry is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education / Certifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

Job specific requirements:

You will be crucial in supporting our business within Packaging R&D by creating valuable, actionable insights about the data, and communicating your findings to the business. Formulate business problems as data problems and work on solving them through systematic analysis and creating visualizations wherever appropriate. You will work with various stakeholders to determine how to use business data for business solutions/insights impacting productivity, sustainability and other key packaging initiatives.

Data Analysis and Visualization:

• Analyze large datasets related to packaging, material properties, sustainability metrics, and financial data.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI (primary tool), and other visualization tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and communicate insights effectively.
• Create ad-hoc reports and presentations to address specific business questions and support decision-making.
• Develop scalable and sustainable reporting solutions to unlock new insights and data exploration opportunities.
• Opportunity for knowledge development of Databricks / Python and Modelling & Simulation capabilities

Collaboration and Communication:

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into effective reporting solutions.
• Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Build trust and credibility with different stakeholders to achieve common organizational goals and targets.
• Participate in meetings and collaborate with team members and stakeholders across different time zones, requiring occasional flexibility in working hours.
• Collaboration with Central Digital R&D team
