Why we're hiring:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our Customer Success team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting our Digital Pulse operations, providing critical insights into our digital performance. You will be responsible for the ongoing monitoring, analysis, and reporting of key digital metrics, ensuring our stakeholders have the data they need to make informed decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web analytics, data warehousing, and data visualization, with specific expertise in Google Analytics, BigQuery, and Looker.

What you'll be doing:

  • Digital Performance Monitoring:
    • Proactively monitor and analyze digital performance metrics across various platforms, with a primary focus on website and app analytics.
    • Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization within our digital ecosystem.
    • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our digital user journeys and conversion funnels.
Reporting & Dashboarding:
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Looker to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Automate reporting processes where possible to improve efficiency and data accessibility.
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports on digital performance for various business units.
Data Extraction & Transformation:
  • Utilize Google BigQuery to extract, transform, and load (ETL) large datasets from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Write complex SQL queries to support analytical requests and data investigations.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure robust data pipelines.
Insight Generation & Communication:
  • Translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for business stakeholders.
  • Present insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and other teams to understand their data needs and provide relevant analytical support.
BAU Support & Optimization:
  • Support ongoing digital initiatives by providing data-driven insights for A/B testing, campaign performance, and user experience improvements.
  • Assist in defining and tracking new digital metrics as business needs evolve.
  • Participate in data governance and quality assurance efforts related to digital analytics.

What you'll need:

    • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
    • 5-8 years of experience as a Data Analyst, specifically with a focus on digital analytics or web analytics.
    • Expert-level proficiency with Google Analytics (GA4 preferred, Universal Analytics experience also valuable).
    • Strong experience with Google BigQuery, including writing complex SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
    • Proven experience in developing and maintaining dashboards and reports using Looker (or similar BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, with a strong ability to adapt quickly).
    • Solid understanding of digital marketing concepts, website performance metrics, and user behavior analysis.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
    • Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves):
  • Experience with other data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with other Google Marketing Platform products (e.g., Google Tag Manager, Google Ads).
  • Experience with scripting languages like Python or R for data analysis.
  • Understanding of data modeling principles.
  • Experience in an e-commerce, media, or SaaS environment.
