Role Overview

As a Customer Service Executive, you'll play a crucial dual role in managing day-to-day client queries and actively contributing to new client acquisition. Your primary objective will be to provide exceptional service that builds lasting client relationships while identifying and capitalizing on opportunities for business growth.


Key Responsibilities

Client Queries and Support

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all inbound client inquiries, including tracking, delivery schedules, documentation, and pricing.
  • Resolve client issues and complaints efficiently and professionally, escalating complex problems to the appropriate internal teams when necessary.
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding shipping status, service offerings, and company policies.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all client interactions and transactions in our CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the operations, sales, and accounts teams to ensure a smooth end-to-end client experience.


Client Acquisition and Relationship Management

  • Engage with potential clients to understand their logistics needs and introduce them to Selloship's services.
  • Assist the sales team in generating and qualifying leads through various channels.
  • Follow up on warm leads and turn inquiries into new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to foster loyalty and encourage repeat business.
  • Identify opportunities for up-selling or cross-selling additional services to current clients.


Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven experience in a customer service, sales, or client-facing role, preferably within the logistics or a related industry.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet and handle pressure.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using CRM software and other customer service platforms.
  • Attributes: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A proactive and positive attitude with a passion for helping others.
