Job Summary
The Credit Management Analyst will approve profitable applicants and ensure they have the appropriate available credit. The Analyst will operate within contractual guidelines and adhere to established risk appetite tolerance levels. This role will monitor and analyze credit performance for brands, products, and strategies. This analysis will assist Credit Management leadership in establishing appropriate credit strategies across various products and brands. The Credit Management Analyst builds upon foundational analytical and technical skills, allowing for career development and growth.
Essential Job Functions
Develop and assess credit management strategies to drive growth. Analyze past performance to refine strategies and create new credit policies. Generate detailed reports on key credit risk metrics to guide decision-making. - (40%)
Assist in the preliminary analysis of credit applications and existing accounts. Gather and organize relevant financial data, perform basic credit and fraud assessments, and flag potential risks for further review. This support role is crucial for the timely and efficient processing of credit and fraud evaluations. - (20%)
Utilize SQL, SAS, Python, and R to create comprehensive reports. Use data visualization tools like Tableau and MicroStrategy to present findings. Share insights with Credit Risk Leadership, Brand Strategy, Client Partnership, and other key stakeholders. - (20%)
Ensure all credit policies and procedures comply with regulatory requirements and internal standards. Regularly review and update policies to reflect changes in regulations and market conditions. Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential compliance issues. - (20%)
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Engineering, Finance, Computer science.
2+ years of professional work experience.
