If you are prepared to take on a challenging position within a dynamic media setting, we are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our client's team on a 3-6 month contract. This opportunity is perfect for an individual eager to engage in a complex, high-impact project with an immediate commencement. In this crucial role, your primary task will involve managing a complex, aged debtors ledger that spans multiple years and encompasses two entities. Your focus will revolve around resolving outstanding invoicing issues related to fee revenue and media passthrough costs. This will necessitate precise reconciliation abilities, clear data presentation, and effective communication both internally and externally. Key Responsibilities: - Resolving Historical Balances: Concentrating on addressing aged invoicing issues by ensuring accurate invoicing of media passthrough costs and reconciling purchase orders. - Supporting Media Reconciliation: Aiding in passthrough cost analysis and media reconciliations to uphold transparency and precision in accounts. - Driving Process Improvement: Identifying and executing strategies to diminish overdue accounts and enhance cash flow. - Collaborating Across Teams: Working closely with the Financial Operations team (GFCC) in India to maintain and update customer master data. Skills & Experience Required: - Industry Background: Essential experience of around 8 to 12 years in a digital media or marketing agency. - Proficiency in Advanced Billing & Collections: Demonstrated capability in managing intricate and aged collections processes. - Strong Analytical Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, coupled with the ability to present intricate data in clear and understandable formats. - Effective Communication: Outstanding communication skills, enabling smooth client interactions and diplomatic issue resolution. - Hands-On Approach: Tenacious, resolute, and adaptable in a fast-paced setting. - Technical Proficiency: Well-versed in reconciliations and media passthrough analysis, with a proactive problem-solving attitude.
