Job Description

  1. Costing- Prepare and maintain standard costing, product costing, and process costing.
  1. Conduct variance analysis (standard vs. actual cost, material, labor, overhead).
  1. Support in cost estimation for new products, tenders, and quotations.
  1. Monitor inventory valuation and conduct reconciliation with accounts.
  1. Analyze cost-saving opportunities and recommend measures to improve efficiency.
  1. Support in budget preparation and cost control.
  1. MIS (Management Information System)
  1. Develop and maintain MIS dashboards and reports for management review.
  1. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales, production, expenses, and profitability.
  1. Consolidate data across departments (finance, production, sales, HR, etc.) for management decisions.
  1. Generate business intelligence reports with trend analysis, KPIs, and forecasting.
  1. Ensure timely and accurate submission of MIS reports.
  1. Automate reporting processes where possible (Excel, ERP, BI tools).
  1. Key Skills & Competencies- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  1. Proficiency in Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, macros), ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally), and MIS tools.
  1. Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  1. Ability to present data in a clear, concise, and business-friendly format.
  1. Strong coordination and communication skills across departments.
