Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Costing Executive with 2 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and controlling product costs, preparing costing reports, and assisting with budget planning to support efficient financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain standard costing for products and processes.
• Analyze cost variances between actual and standard costs and identify the root causes.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reporting and financial closing activities.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, and inventory teams to gather cost-related data.
• Support the preparation of BOM (Bill of Materials) and cost sheets for new and existing products.
• Review inventory movements and conduct physical verification in coordination with stores.
• Monitor overheads and assist in budgeting and cost control measures.
• Generate cost-related MIS reports for management review.
• Assist in pricing decisions and margin analysis.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA Inter / CMA Inter is a plus).
• 2 years of hands-on experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing setup.
• Strong knowledge of cost control, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally, SAP, or ERP systems preferred).
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

• Experience in handling product costing and overhead allocation.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and inventory management.
• Knowledge of GST, taxation, and compliance is an advantage.
