Cost Engineer / Sr. Cost Controller
The Cost Engineer / Sr. Cost Controller will oversee and manage project cost control systems, ensuring accurate cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle. The role requires strong analytical ability, financial acumen, and coordination with project and finance teams to ensure cost efficiency and transparency.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and manage cost control systems, budgets, and forecasts.
• Monitor project expenditures and identify variances.
• Support estimation, cash flow, and funding plans.
• Conduct cost risk analysis and value engineering reviews.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Schedulers, and Finance Teams.
• Prepare monthly cost performance reports and presentations.
• Ensure compliance with contractual and financial policies.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Finance / Construction Management.
• Minimum 10+ years in Cost Control / Project Controls for large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in cost management tools and Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Excellent communication, forecasting, and analytical skills.
• Prior GCC / Middle East project experience preferred.
