About the Company:

Your Role:

As a Cost Auditor, you’ll play a key role in driving compliance, efficiency, and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct cost audits as per Cost Accounting Records Rules (CARR) & Companies (Cost Records and Audit) Rules, 2014
Review and validate cost records, cost sheets, and production/inventory valuations
Ensure compliance with Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and statutory audit requirements
Analyze cost data to identify variances and opportunities for optimization
Prepare cost audit reports, working papers, and statutory filings
Collaborate with finance, production & operations teams for reconciliation and data accuracy
Provide recommendations for cost control and efficiency improvement

Qualifications & Skills:

CMA (Cost & Management Accountant) or Semi-qualified CMA
Minimum 3 years’ experience in cost audit / cost accounting (manufacturing or engineering industry)
Proficient in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally);
ERPNext proficiency is a bonus
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
