Content Writer

Someone who understands that fundraising isn't just about numbers. It's about storytelling. Psychology. Timing.

You'll create content that educates founders, attracts investors, and positions our CEO, Nidhi Kaushal, as a thought leader in the startup fundraising space. Your words will appear everywhere - LinkedIn posts, website copy, email campaigns, blogs, case studies, and more.

This isn't a role for generic corporate content. We need someone who can write with personality, depth, and strategic intent.

• Write engaging posts that blend storytelling with fundraising insights
• Create hooks that stop the scroll and drive engagement
• Adapt voice and tone to match different topics (motivational, educational, contrarian)
• Develop comment strategies to maximize reach and conversations
• Stay on top of startup ecosystem trends and turn them into timely content

• Write clear, conversion-focused website copy
• Create landing pages for specific services (pitch decks, investor outreach, etc.)
• Develop case studies highlighting client success stories
• Craft compelling service descriptions that educate and sell

• Write B2B email campaigns to re-engage dormant partners
• Create nurture sequences for founder audiences
• Develop partnership outreach emails with high response rates
• Build value-first email content (guides, resources, insights)

• Research and write in-depth blog posts about fundraising, pitch decks, and startup growth
• Create downloadable guides and resources (e.g., "Ultimate Fundraising Checklist")
• Develop thought leadership articles backed by data and market insights
• Write scripts for video content and reels

• Research industry trends, VC insights, and startup news
• Identify content opportunities based on current events
• Maintain a content calendar aligned with business goals
• Track performance metrics and optimize based on what works
  

2-3 years of content writing experience

Deep understanding of digital content fundamentals:

• Social media algorithms (especially LinkedIn)
• Basic SEO principles
• Content structure for different platforms
• Engagement tactics and CTAs

AI tool proficiency:

Strong research skills:

Self-starter mentality:

⭐ Experience writing for the startup ecosystem, fundraising space, or B2B SaaS

⭐ Understanding of VC funding stages (pre-seed to Series C)

⭐ Knowledge of LinkedIn personal branding and thought leadership

⭐ Experience creating content that generates leads (not just likes)

⭐ Portfolio with examples of social media content that drove engagement

⭐ Familiarity with design tools (Canva) for basic content creation
