Role Description

Content Writer & SEO Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation:

  Research, write, and edit engaging, high-quality content for various platforms, including:
• Blog posts and articles
• Website copy
• LinkedIn articles and social media posts
• Case studies and whitepapers (as needed)

• SEO Optimization:

  Conduct keyword research, optimize content for search engines, and implement on-page SEO best practices to improve organic visibility and drive traffic.

• Research & Analysis:

  Stay updated on industry trends, client industries (e.g., hospitality, manufacturing), and competitor content to identify new content opportunities and ensure relevance.

• Technical Understanding:

  Translate complex technical concepts (e.g., AI, cloud, custom software) into clear, compelling, and accessible language for diverse business audiences.

• Content Strategy Support:

  Collaborate with the marketing and business development teams to align content with overall business goals and client needs.

• Reporting (Optional, for experienced):

  Track content performance metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For (Requirements):

• Proven Writing Skills:

  Excellent written communication and storytelling abilities, with a strong command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

• Research Acumen:

  Ability to conduct thorough research on technical and business topics and synthesize information effectively.

• SEO Knowledge:

  Solid understanding of SEO principles, keyword research tools, and content optimization techniques.

• Tech Aptitude:

  A genuine interest in technology and the ability to quickly grasp and explain complex software concepts. Prior experience writing about tech, software, or B2B services is a significant plus.

• Adaptability:

  Ability to write in various tones and styles to suit different platforms and client brand voices.

• Self-Motivated & Organized:

  Capable of managing multiple content projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines in a remote/hybrid environment.

• Portfolio:

  A portfolio of writing samples (blog posts, articles, website copy) is highly preferred.

Bonus Points (Nice-to-Haves):

• Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn's content best practices and analytics.
• Basic understanding of content marketing funnels.
• Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) for creating accompanying visuals.
