If you're passionate about unraveling the intricacies of the U.S. real estate landscape and have a knack for crafting clear and engaging content, this role is for you. Our ideal candidate is not just a writer but an aspiring expert in real estate transactions. 

About the Role

As a Content Writer at Houzeo, you will be responsible for publishing informative blogs on Houzeo’s website that will help us grow our traffic and leads. It involves researching a topic to gain new insights that provide readers with useful advice and information. 

If your content passes the “Google Test” (If you were Google, would you rank your post #1?) with flying colors, you’re the one we’re looking for.

Roles and Responsibilities

● Conduct thorough research on US real estate trends, market dynamics, and industry-related topics. 

● Use tools like SEMRush, Google Trends, and Google Search Console to identify relevant keywords and queries and optimize content for search engines.

● Write, edit, and proofread long-form content considering SEO best practices.

● Regularly update the company's website with fresh, engaging, and SEO-optimized content. 

● Evaluate analytics data on Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console to adjust content strategies and improve blog performance. 

● Stay updated on the latest US housing market trends via reports from Redfin, Realtor.com, Zillow, etc. 

● Collaborate with other content writers, editors, and designers to improve the overall quality of content. 

Required Skills

● A bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.

● Minimum 1-year experience in content writing. A portfolio of your published work would give you an added advantage. 

● Proficiency in US English with exceptional writing and editing skills.

● Experience using SEO tools and analytics platforms for content optimization is preferred but not required. 

● Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
