Configuration Specialist

You are a skilled Configuration/ServiceNow Specialist responsible for managing and enhancing the ServiceNow platform. Your primary focus will be on ensuring smooth operations, scalability, and continuous improvement of the platform with a strong understanding of CMDB and core ITSM modules. **Key Responsibilities:** - Administer, configure, and support core ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and CMDB. - Ensure the maintenance and enhancement of CMDB data quality for accuracy and completeness of configuration items. - Develop workflows, business rules, UI policies, and scripts to automate and optimize processes. - Monitor platform health and performance, proactively resolving technical issues. - Evaluate and implement new ServiceNow modules and features following best practices. - Collaborate with IT and business teams to enhance processes and user experience. - Support system integrations with tools like Active Directory and monitoring tools. - Build reports and dashboards to improve visibility and decision-making. **Required Skills & Experience:** - 4+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow administration, support, and development. - Strong experience with ServiceNow CMDB and its components. - Experience with ITIL processes and ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and Jira Service Management. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
