Responsibilities
- Supervise on-site activities like panel installation, cable laying, terminations & equipment setup.
- Perform loop checking, signal verification, and calibration of field instruments.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve PLC and SCADA issues.
- Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) to ensure system functionality and compliance.
- Participate in Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) to confirm successful system performance on-site.
- Serve as the client contact from site, ensuring effective communication and satisfaction.
- Manage AMC tasks, including system inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
- Ensure safety standards and regulations are followed during commissioning activities.
Role Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or any relevant field.
- 1+ years of experience in on-site commissioning of Industrial Control & Automation Systems.
- Strong experience in troubleshooting, configuring, and programming PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
- Knowledge of integrating field instruments (pressure, flow, level, temperature) with PLC/SCADA systems.
- Knowledge of integrating electrical switchgear, PCC, and MCC panels with PLC/SCADA systems.
- Proficiency in industrial protocols such as Modbus (RTU/TCP), Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, etc.
- Ability to perform loop checks, signal verification, and calibration during system commissioning.
- Knowledge in troubleshooting PLC programs written in Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagram (FBD).
- Understanding of communication networks (Ethernet, Fiber Optic, RS232, RS485, etc.).
- Familiarity with engineering drawings, GA, electrical wiring diagrams, P&ID, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in a cross-functional environment.
