Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Commi 1 to join our team in the hospitality industry, specifically with Marriott International. The ideal candidate will have experience in Halwai/South Indian/Asian cuisine.

Roles and Responsibility

Assist in preparing and cooking high-quality dishes according to company standards.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to enhance culinary offerings.
Ensure all food products are stored properly and used within their expiration dates.
Participate in inventory management of kitchen supplies and ingredients.

Job Requirements

Proven experience as a Commi 1 in a professional kitchen setup, preferably in Halwai/South Indian/Asian cuisine.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and ingredient combinations.
Ability to work well under pressure, maintaining composure and attention to detail during peak hours.
Excellent communication skills, able to effectively collaborate with colleagues and management.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment operation and maintenance is desirable.
Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service by providing outstanding food quality and presentation.
