Commercial Executive

About the Role

Responsible for Commercial Executive responsibilities for an EMPG Construction site.

Responsibilities

• Sales Support:

  Reviewing tender terms and conditions, Evaluating risk and mitigation plan, Compliance with OBG, Execution of tender EMD, financial certification, Participation in Pre-bid meeting with customer for discussion of T&C, Taxes.

• Operational Support:

  Providing Post bid support for all jobs in the region viz on commercial conditions, taxes & duties (concessions / benefits) invoicing, Customer reconciliation, etc including customer interface. Carry on review on CVRs quality and report to Regional Commercial Head.

• Project Financials:

  Monitor Profitability of the Operations vis-à-vis ABP and review key performance parameters like Bookings, Billing, Billing Margin, DEE & ODE analysis JMR & Form 9, Provisions. Presenting the Financial status to ROMs / OMs / RCMs / DH on Total Exposure, Capital Employed, Recovery Report Review, with timely MOMs published with specific focus on key actionable points. Drive Collection of old outstanding due after removing provision, not due as per TOP and Job closures. Co-ordinate with Indirect Taxation team during Pre-bid and post-bid stage. Reduction of BG exposure.

• Legal Support:

  Ensure that a robust legal support is provided at pre bid and post bid stage and protect the interest of Blue Star.

• Audit:

  Co-ordinate with CFS, Statutory & Internal Auditors & ensure necessary process corrections are implemented as per guidelines. Provide required support to CFS for timely closure of books of accounts.

• Financials:

  Drive TECO & SAP closure of jobs. Monitoring Total Exposure of Projects and also provide inputs to the construction team for controlling the capital employed engaged in their respective Projects. Draft Extension of Time letter and Price escalation / overstay claim to customer.

• Non Financials:

  Compile EMPG MIS reports based on Corporate / Divisional needs. Monitoring of mitigation plan. Compliance of OBG, CVR are prepared & PRPC updated on time. Handling Internal & external auditor.

Qualifications

B.Com, M.Com, BAF, MBA,BBA
