Job Summary:

A commercial Head is an individual that spearheads business or financial growth within an organisation. By managing the financial area of the business, commercial managers are the key to achieving efficient operational and financial management of business projects. Acting as a commercial head, a commercial managers primary mission is to maximise the profitability of the organisation. By winning clients and creating marketing and growth strategies, a commercial manager oversees the budgets, expenses and revenue, while delivering state-of-the-art commercial solutions to support business growth.

Experience & skills required:

• Identify opportunities to expand the business, including through strategic partnerships, sales channels and new markets
• Analyze sales, marketing, finance and other reports to gain insights into how to improve performance and maximize growth
• Develop accurate and product costing to align with company policy
• Maintain sustainable and productive relationships with existing clients
• Manage daily operations, including employee training and development, contract negotiations and production planning
• Capable to handle all commercial and taxation matters
• Assess risks involved with new initiatives, ensure deadlines are met and be ready to handle unexpected situations
• Strategy and policy: Develop, implement, and oversee compliance strategies, policies, and procedures to align with legal and ethical standards.
• Risk management: Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential compliance issues.
• Monitoring and investigation: Monitor business operations and investigate any potential violations or compliance incidents.
• Liaison: Act as a liaison between departments, management, and external regulators.
• Guidance: Advise management on compliance matters and the impact of new or changing regulations.
