Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Logistics In-charge to manage and coordinate transportation and logistics operations across India. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in handling nationwide transport logistics, strong communication skills, and a proven track record of timely, cost-effective dispatch planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate transport of goods across all zones in India
• Manage relationships with transport vendors and negotiate rates & service terms
• Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of materials to customers or warehouses
• Track shipments, resolve delays, and proactively communicate status updates
• Optimize logistics costs while maintaining service levels
• Ensure documentation like LR, e-way bills, invoices, and PODs are accurate and in compliance
• Maintain records of dispatches and prepare regular logistics performance reports
• Coordinate with production, stores, and sales teams for dispatch planning
• Handle transport-related complaints, damages, or disputes with urgency
• Ensure compliance with applicable transport, safety, and regulatory norms

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in logistics or transport coordination
• Familiar with pan-India transport routes, costs, and vendor networks
• Proficient in MS Excel and transport tracking systems
• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple shipments simultaneously
• Experience with ERP or dispatch management systems is a plus
