Urgent: Hiring For Manager - Internal Controls @ GM Modular - Andheri

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager of Internal Control and Compliance to join our team in Andheri West, Mumbai. This role is essential in ensuring that GM Modular adheres to regulatory requirements and internal policies, mitigating risks, and fostering a culture of compliance and integrity throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement Internal Controls:

1. Design and implement effective internal control systems and processes.
2. Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of controls and recommend improvements.
3. Monitor compliance with internal control policies and procedures.
4. Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits.

Compliance Management:

1. Ensure the company's compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
2. Keep abreast of regulatory changes and update company policies and procedures accordingly.
3. Conduct regular compliance audits and prepare detailed reports.
4. Investigate and resolve compliance issues promptly and effectively.

Risk Management:

1. Identify potential risks to the organization and develop strategies to mitigate them.
2. Conduct risk assessments and provide guidance on risk management practices.
3. Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures.
4. Monitor and report on risk exposure and mitigation efforts.

Policy Development:

1. Develop, review, and update company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and effective internal controls.
2. Train staff on new and existing policies and procedures.
3. Ensure policies are effectively communicated and understood across the organization.
4. Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of policy implementation.

Reporting and Documentation:

1. Prepare comprehensive reports on the status of internal controls and compliance efforts.
2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all compliance activities.
3. Report findings to senior management with actionable recommendations.
4. Ensure all documentation meets regulatory and internal requirements.

Collaboration and Communication:

1. Work closely with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to internal controls and compliance.
2. Communicate effectively with senior management, providing insights and recommendations.
3. Foster a culture of transparency and accountability.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies and external auditors.

Continuous Improvement:

1. Foster a culture of continuous improvement in internal control and compliance practices.
2. Stay informed about best practices and emerging trends in the field.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Accounting with Inter CA / MBA in Finance.
2. Minimum of [7 -10] years of experience in internal control, compliance, audit, or a related field.
3. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
4. Proven ability to design and implement effective internal controls.
5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. High level of integrity and ethical standards.
