Job Description The CNC Manufacturing Engineer's Responsibilities Include: Evaluate product designs for manufacturability, tolerance adherence, quality compliance, and cost efficiency Identify and design or procure fixtures and gauges needed for new components Create detailed manufacturing documents, including setup sheets, sketches, and shop floor instructions Program CNC machines, troubleshoot startup challenges, and fine-tune cutting parameters to maximize efficiency and tool longevity Diagnose and resolve machinery and process issues alongside shop floor staff and engineering teams Operate CNC lathes, machining centers, and various manufacturing equipment hands-on Work collaboratively with engineering, quality assurance, supervision, and operations to enhance productivity and product quality Engage in root cause analysis and drive corrective actions to address quality concerns Support the training of machine operators on operational procedures and specific task workflows MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
