About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Cluster head -Gujrat to lead our operations in the Western region of India. This is a pivotal role that requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, operational excellence, and a deep understanding of the solar PV industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development and Sales:
    • Identify, develop, and maintain strong relationships with key customers, channel partners, and consultants in the region.
    • Drive sales growth and achieve annual sales targets.
    • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand market share.
    • Oversee the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closure, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  • Team Management:
    • Lead and mentor a team of 4-5 sales professionals, fostering a positive and high-performance culture.
    • Recruit, hire, and onboard talented individuals to strengthen the team.
    • Provide ongoing coaching, training, and development to enhance team capabilities.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Ensure smooth execution of projects, from initial planning to final commissioning.
    • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards to deliver projects on time and within budget.
    • Identify and implement process improvements to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Financial Management:
    • Manage the regional P&L, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness.
    • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
    • Possess a strong understanding of Letter of Credit (LC) processes and international trade finance.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
    • Resolve client issues and disputes effectively, ensuring client satisfaction.
    • Proactively identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to existing clients.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics) or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the solar PV industry or related fields like FMEG.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing teams.
  • Strong understanding of the solar PV market, regulatory landscape, and technical aspects of solar projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and management.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the region.
