Job Description

As the Cloud DevOps Manager at the organization, you will lead a team of engineers in designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Linux-based systems. Your primary responsibilities include ensuring system stability, driving innovation, and delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions aligned with organizational goals. - Lead and mentor a team of Linux engineers, provide technical guidance, and manage workload distribution for timely project completion. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT infrastructure with organizational objectives. - Architect, deploy, and manage robust Linux-based environments for servers, networking, and storage solutions. - Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of Linux systems, and automate deployment and management processes using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. - Monitor, maintain, and optimize system performance, proactively identify and resolve technical issues to prevent outages. Security and compliance are crucial aspects of your responsibilities: - Implement and maintain security best practices for Linux systems, ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. - Handle documentation and reporting of systems, processes, and procedures. Continuous improvement is key in this role: - Stay updated with the latest Linux technologies, tools, and practices. - Lead initiatives to enhance efficiency, reliability, and security of Linux environments, including adopting cloud technologies and containerization. Qualifications required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience. - At least 10 years of experience in Linux system administration, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or senior technical role. - Deep understanding of Linux operating systems, networking principles, automation tools, scripting languages, virtualization, containerization, and cloud platforms. - Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and interpersonal abilities.
