Job Title: Application and Cloud Support Engineer Location: Coimbatore We are seeking a skilled Application and Cloud Support Engineer to provide technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for cloud-based applications and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience in cloud platforms (Private Cloud, AWS, Azure, or GCP), application support, and DevOps practices. You will work closely with development, operations, and business teams to ensure high availability, performance, and security of cloud applications. Key Responsibilities: Cloud Support & Troubleshooting: Monitor, diagnose, and resolve issues related to cloud applications and infrastructure. Provide L2/L3 support for cloud-based applications, APIs, and microservices. Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, connectivity issues, and deployment failures. Work with cloud providers (ESDS, Pi DC, AWS, Azure, GCP) to resolve platform-level incidents. Application Support & Maintenance: Investigate and resolve application errors, logs, and performance issues. Collaborate with development teams to debug and fix software defects. Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and recommend improvements. DevOps & Automation: Assist in CI/CD pipeline management (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps). Automate repetitive tasks using scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell). Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates. Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce cloud security best practices. Assist in vulnerability assessments and patch management. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards (W3C, ISMS, STQC, DBIM, CERT-IN, PCI SOC2). Collaboration & Documentation: Work with cross-functional teams to improve system reliability. Document troubleshooting steps, solutions, and best practices. Provide training and guidance to L1 support teams. Qualifications & Skills: Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of experience in cloud support (AWS/Azure/GCP) and application support. Hands-on experience with Linux/Windows servers, networking, and databases (SQL/NoSQL). Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell). Familiarity with monitoring tools (Datadog, New Relic, Prometheus, CloudWatch). Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Preferred: Cloud certifications (AWS Certified SysOps, Azure Administrator, Google Cloud Engineer). Experience with IaC (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet). Knowledge of APM tools, log analysis (ELK, Splunk), and incident management (PagerDuty). Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Why Join Us?
