Closing Manager

Role & responsibilities

Manage the full lifecycle of the closing process for real estate transactions, from contract execution to the final settlement.

• Coordinate with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, attorneys, lenders, and other relevant parties to ensure all necessary documentation and requirements are met.
• Review closing documents, including title reports, settlement statements, and contracts, to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Ensure all deadlines are met and monitor progress toward closing, addressing any issues that could delay the process.
• Maintain a detailed record of each transaction, tracking progress and following up as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients, real estate agents, and legal professionals to provide updates and resolve issues.
• Supervise and mentor a team of closing coordinators and support staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to real estate transactions.
• Resolve disputes and issues that arise during the closing process to prevent delays.
• Work closely with title companies to verify title status and resolve any title issues.
• Assist with the preparation and review of closing documents, including deeds, HUD-1 forms, and mortgage documentation.

Preferred candidate profile

• Previous experience managing or leading a team in a real estate setting.
• Knowledge of local real estate laws and market conditions.
