With branches spread across the country, the branches act as the face of Axis Bank for millions of retail customers and is, hence, an integral part of the Bank s strategy Branches play a major role in deposit mobilization from New-To-Bank (NTB) customers, and are also core drivers of the Bank s customer engagement strategy across products and servicesAbout the RoleThe Circle Business and Planning manager assists the circle head in achieving the business targets of the circle The job holder is responsible for creating enablers for the branch resources to attain their business targets The Circle Business and Planning manager also ensures optimum branch and resource productivity apart from managing the rural branch business of the circleEstablish budgets and targets and provide guidance to the Branch resources in preparing business plans for their respective areasReview and monitor performance of the Branches for ensuring achievement of all targets, productivity, quality and compliance standardsPlan and ensure implementation of Branch expansion plans, upgradation of extension counters/ Branches and Points of Service, in line with the growth plans of the BankEnsure rural branch objectives and targets are achieved successfullyEnsure creation and successful execution of campaigns and initiativesEnsure branch resource activation through contests, broadcasts and campaignsAttain optimum resource productivity by identifying deficiencies and providing guidance and training for branch resourcesLiaison with various business unit heads in the circle for efficient service deliveryReview and ensure compliance of all processes according to bank s policiesQualificationsGraduation/ Post-Graduation from a recognized institute5-10 years of experience in the BFSI sectorRole ProficienciesKnowledge of industry, technology, marketing, and product trendsKnowledge of regulatory guidelines and normsGood communication (both verbal and written) skillAbility to handle pressure and meet deadlinesAbility to manage risk and uncertainty for self and team within a dynamic priority-setting environmentAbility to coach and mentor others
