Job Description

strategic and result-driven business leader

Key Responsibilities:

Lead annual operating plans and long-term business strategy for the Seeds division
Build product portfolio, pricing, and roadmap to achieve market leadership
Institutionalize NPD and GTM excellence; drive farmer-first marketing initiatives
Oversee sales performance, channel growth, and brand expansion
Ensure supply chain reliability and operational excellence (forecasting, CRM, S&OP)
Lead high-performing cross-functional teams and nurture an accountable culture
Build strong partnerships with channel partners, industry bodies, and government agencies

Desired Candidate Profile:

Experience:
2025 years in the Seeds industry with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
Functional Expertise:
Business strategy, NPD, GTM, and marketing leadership
Revenue Accountability:
Minimum 100 Cr handled as Zonal Head or above
Crop Exposure:
Hybrid Rice, Maize, Mustard, Wheat (minimum two crops)
Market Expertise:
Proven success in scaling seed business in North Indian markets
Education:
B.Sc./M.Sc. in Agriculture (preferably Genetics, Plant Breeding, or Seed Science)
Preferred Qualification:
MBA in Agri-Business or related management discipline

Key Skills:

Good to Have:

Experience in policy advocacy and industry/government collaboration
P&L ownership and exposure to production, SCM, or processing functions
