Position: Project Consultant- Fertilizer Plant We are seeking a highly experienced professional to evaluate diversification opportunities, including the feasibility of setting up a fertlizer plant. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in plant technology, process design, and project execution, especially related to different fertlizers. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate and compare technologies for Fertilizer plants Conduct technology scouting and assess options based on CAPEX, OPEX, scalability, and risk Engage with licensors and vendors; lead technical assessments and contract negotiations Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology with strategic goals Provide technical input during basic and detailed engineering phases Prepare pre-feasibility reports and support financial modeling Qualifications & Skills: B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering 12 to 18+ years of process engineering experience in complex fertilizer plants Strong understanding of DCS/PLC systems, process safety, and environmental regulations Proven expertise in market research, technology evaluation, and strategic project planning Experience in preparing pre-feasibility reports with sound knowledge of regulatory compliance (HSE, ISO, etc.) Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities Strong leadership skills with a focus on people development and cross-functional collaboration Budgeting and cost optimization experience Willingness to work as an individual contributor
