Job Description

Job Summary:

The Cinema Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the cinema, ensuring excellent customer experience, smooth functioning of all departments, team management, sales enhancement, and adherence to company policies. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills and be capable of managing high-footfall environments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations Management:

  • Manage daily cinema operations including box office, concessions, housekeeping, and projection.
  • Ensure all shows run smoothly, on time, and without technical issues.
  • Monitor facility maintenance, cleanliness, and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and technical teams as needed.

2. Customer Service:

  • Ensure high-quality customer experience and address customer concerns efficiently.
  • Maintain service quality standards and ensure staff follow customer handling protocols.

3. Team Management:

  • Supervise, train, and schedule staff across departments (Box Office, F&B, Housekeeping, Security, Projection).
  • Conduct daily briefings, performance reviews, and ensure disciplinary guidelines are followed.

4. Sales & Revenue Management:

  • Drive ticket sales, F&B sales, and promotional offers.
  • Monitor daily sales reports and manage cash handling procedures.
  • Ensure proper reconciliation of shows, box office, and inventories.

5. Compliance & Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations, cinema licensing norms, and company policies.
  • Oversee fire safety drills, emergency protocols, and equipment maintenance.

6. Inventory & Stock Control:

  • Manage stock levels for F&B, packaging materials, and consumables.
  • Conduct regular audits to prevent wastage and pilferage.

7. Reporting:

  • Prepare and present daily/weekly/monthly operational reports to management.
  • Highlight any operational challenges and recommend improvement measures.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 4–7 years of experience in cinema operations, multiplex management, hospitality, or retail.
  • Strong leadership and team-handling skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with cinema management software.
  • Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per year
