Job Description

Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Plastic Pyrolysis Facility

Position Overview:

As the COO, you'll report to the CEO and act as the second-in-command, driving operational strategy, scaling up operations, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company vision and growth goals.
Oversee end-to-end operations: production, logistics, safety, HR, finance, and quality assurance.
Streamline processes to maximize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
Manage resources—talent, technology, budget—optimally across functions.
Drive change initiatives, performance metrics (dashboards, KPIs), and continuous improvement.
Ensure regulatory compliance and robust safety culture, especially given pyrolysis hazards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's/Master's in Chemical Engineering; MBA or equivalent preferred.
Over 15 years of leadership in operations, ideally with chemical recycling or high‑temperature manufacturing plants.
Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, operations transformation, and team leadership.
Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and operational performance.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Ideal Candidate:

An experienced executive who can steer multi‑faceted operations, scale business strategically, and foster a culture of safety and innovation in chemical recycling.
