Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and technically proficient Sr. Engineer – Solar EV, Cell & Module Manufacturing to play a critical role in the technical development, optimization, and execution of lithium-ion cell and battery module manufacturing processes. This role involves deep engagement in production line setup, process engineering, troubleshooting, and technology implementation within a high-precision, fast-paced EV battery manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Lead technical process development for lithium-ion cell manufacturing (coating, calendaring, slitting, stacking/winding, electrolyte filling, formation & aging). Oversee battery module and pack assembly processes including cell sorting, welding (laser/ultrasonic), BMS integration, sealing, and end-of-line testing. Drive process optimization and ensure all manufacturing steps meet yield, quality, and safety targets. Evaluate, install, and validate new manufacturing equipment and automation technologies. Develop and maintain Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) , PFMEAs , Control Plans , and SOPs . Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA) for process and quality issues. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Design, R&D, Quality, Maintenance) for NPI, line setup, and pilot to mass production transitions. Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma , and TPM tools to improve OEE, throughput, and cost efficiency. Ensure compliance with all ISO/IATF standards, safety protocols, and environmental guidelines . Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Chemical, or Mechatronics Engineering M.Tech or specialization in Energy Storage/Battery Technology is a plus Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in lithium-ion cell manufacturing, battery pack assembly, or EV battery production In-depth understanding of cell chemistries (LFP, NMC), battery architecture, and safety design Strong technical exposure to automation, PLC/SCADA systems, welding techniques, and quality control in high-volume manufacturing Experience in greenfield or pilot-to-scale manufacturing environments is an added advantage Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD/SolidWorks, Minitab, MS Project, and ERP/MES systems Knowledge of Six Sigma, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, SPC, DOE, etc. Familiar with cleanroom operation standards and EHS guidelines in battery manufacturing Key Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Process-oriented and quality-driven mindset Good interpersonal and cross-functional communication Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic production environment Passion for sustainable energy and innovation Why Join Prozeal Green Energy?
