About the Role:

As Chief of Staff at Driffle, you’ll serve as the CEO’s strategic partner and a key member of the leadership team. In this high-impact, full-time role, you’ll drive cross-functional initiatives, streamline operations, and ensure organizational alignment with top priorities. Balancing strategy with execution, you'll help translate vision into action in a fast-paced startup environment, enabling Driffle to scale efficiently and effectively.


Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning & Execution:

    Partner with the CEO in developing the company’s strategy and OKRs, and translate high-level goals into actionable plans. Lead strategic initiatives and special projects that drive growth, from new product launches to market expansion, ensuring they are executed on time and with excellence.
  • Operational Excellence:

    Oversee day-to-day operational workflows and resolve bottlenecks, enabling the organization to run smoothly even in a fast-paced environment.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination:

    Coordinate across departments (product, engineering, marketing, operations, etc.) to align teams with the company’s priorities. Organize leadership meetings and planning sessions, track progress on key projects and OKRs, and ensure effective communication and collaboration among all teams.
  • Executive Communication:

    Serve as a communication conduit for the CEO. Prepare and review high-level communications, including internal updates, town-hall presentations, and executive reports, to ensure the CEO’s vision and priorities are clearly conveyed across the organization.
  • Decision Support & Analysis:

    Support the CEO’s decision-making with rigorous analysis and research. Synthesize data into actionable insights and recommendations to guide strategic business decisions.
  • People Management & Development:

    Work closely with the CEO and HR in scaling the team and nurturing Driffle’s talent. Mentor and manage team members within the CEO’s office or special project teams, as required. Help drive performance management processes and leadership development initiatives to build a high-performing, motivated organization.
  • Investor Relations & Stakeholder Management:

    Take a lead role in investor relations in partnership with the CEO. Prepare regular investor updates, board meeting materials, and quarterly business review documents. Coordinate communications with external stakeholders, including existing and potential investors, partners, and advisors. Support the CEO in fundraising efforts by helping to create pitch decks, business cases, due diligence materials, and managing follow-ups.
  • Special Projects:

    Tackle high-impact special projects and urgent priorities on behalf of the CEO. This could range from evaluating a new business model, improving an internal process, to launching a new strategic initiative. Be ready to wear many hats and step into different roles to fill gaps and ensure critical objectives are achieved.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education:

    MBA from a top-tier business school or equivalent post-graduate degree in management (Tier-1 institute strongly preferred). A solid academic background in business, management, or related fields.
  • Experience:

    Approximately 5-8+ years of professional experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, business operations, or similar fast-paced environments. Prior experience in a high-growth startup or tech company, especially in gaming, e-commerce, or marketplaces, is highly valued.
  • Strategic & Analytical Skills:

    Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, project management, and data analysis. Comfortable working with financial models, business intelligence tools, and OKR or KPI frameworks to drive performance.
  • Leadership & People Skills:

    Strong leadership presence with the ability to manage and motivate others. Experience in people management or leading cross-functional teams, with a collaborative approach to building relationships across all levels.
  • Adaptability & Resilience:

    Thrives in a startup environment that is constantly changing. Agile and flexible, you adjust quickly to new challenges and stay cool-headed in the face of rapid shifts or uncertainty.
  • Passion & Drive:

    A self-starter with a strong sense of ownership. You are driven by results and take pride in building something impactful. A personal interest in gaming or the digital entertainment industry is a plus as it helps you understand our users and product at a deeper level.
